Mill Cleaning

The Flower Mill was designed to operate with basic cleaning (guide here), but at some point you may need to detail it.
✅ Tools
  • 70% Isopropyl Alcohol
  • Soft plastic bristle brush (non-abrasive)
  • Microfiber cloth
  • Glass or plastic dish for soaking
  • PPE (gloves & goggles)
✅ Cleaning
  1.  Remove loose plant material using a soft brush.
  2.  Disassemble the mill entirely.
  3.  Fully submerge in isopropyl alcohol & agitate to remove air pockets
  4.  Soak for up to 10 minutes.
  5.  Gently scrub deposits with a soft brush.
  6.  Remove from alcohol.
  7.  Wipe clean with a soft towel.
    1.  If there are stubborn deposits, repeat steps 3-7.
  8.  Air dry for one hour or until all liquid has evaporated.
  9.  Reassemble the mill.
    ✅ Apply Mill Wax after cleaning
    • Keeps it turning smooth as silk
    • Extends time between full cleanings
    • Improves long term wear resistance

    No harsh chemicals
    • Nail polish removers
    • Glass, drain, oven cleaners
    • Paint thinner, methanol, gasoline
    Don't use abrasives
    • Scotch-Brite & scrubs pads can scratch the finish
    Not dishwasher safe
    • Not even the top rack!
    No microwave or oven drying
    • Towel and air dry only
    Don't boil
    • High temperatures will warp parts and damage the finish
